Luke Darby is a freelance writer working in mainly in Texas at the moment, writing about art, food, music and news. His work is one of the top five hits on Google if you search “best nachos Dallas.”

Luke holds a Masters Degree in Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS.  Most recently he worked as an editorial fellow at the Dallas Observer. While in grad school he interned at Newsweek International and the websites for The New Yorker and New York Magazine, and in undergrad at the Jackson Free Press.

Luke’s writing has appeared on the websites for NYMag.comThe Daily Beast, and TheNewYorker.com, as well as the online and print editions of the Dallas Observer.
